The Reverend Neville J. Crichlow, Biography

Father Neville J. Crichlow is presently serving as Priest-in-Charge of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Daytona Beach, Florida, in the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida. Prior to retirement in Florida in 2009, Father Crichlow served in the Anglican Church of Canada. Trinidadian born, Father Crichlow served in the Diocese of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where he was ordained priest in 1975 and in the Diocese of New Westminster, British Columbia from 1999 to his retirement.

Father Crichlow is a member of the Union of Black Episcopalians, Orlando chapter and a member of Central Florida Diocese Anti-Racism Committee.

Father Crichlow has had wide experience as parish priest and chaplain both in hospital and prison ministries.¬† He has served as Chair, of the Diocese of New Westminster Committee of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund and a member of the Board of Directors Mission to Seafarers, Vancouver Port. In Saskatoon, he served as a member of the Saskatoon Council of Churches (including three years as President of the Council); Ecumenical Officer of the Diocese of Saskatoon; and member of the Board of the Saskatoon Centre for Ecumenism.¬† As well, he has served as Examining Chaplain to the Bishop of Saskatoon and Convener of the Diocesan Ministry Committee; member of the General Synod Committee on Ministry and member of the Continuing Education Unit of the Anglican Church of Canada.

Father Crichlow is a graduate of the College of Emanuel & St. Chad, Saskatoon; the University of Saskatchewan and the Graduate Theological Foundation, Indiana.

Father Neville brings 41 years of ministry experience. He has been in parish ministry, in prison chaplaincy,and has taught in a seminary. Committed to Christ, He brings a wealth of knowledge and is highly equipped to empower the laity for ministry.

Since April, 2013 our Priest-in-Charge is the Reverend Neville Crichlow. ¬†Trinidadian born Father Crichlow was ordained priest in 1975 in the Anglican Church of Canada, and has ministered in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, Canada before coming to Florida.
